Attorney Gino Bulso Announces Bid for Tennessee State Representative

Gino Bulso

Gino Bulso, an attorney and resident of Williamson County, on Friday launched his campaign to represent the people of District 61 in the Tennessee House of Representatives.

Bulso runs his own law firm in Brentwood and has lived in the area for more than two decades.

“We chose Williamson County over 25 years ago because we immediately fell in love with the people, the culture and the history. I am honored to answer the call to preserve the values that make Williamson County such a special place,” Bulso said in an emailed press release announcing his candidacy.

According to the release, he “is pursuing the office to protect and promote the values that made Williamson County a great place to live, work and raise a family.”

Based on records from the Williamson County Election Commission, Bulso and Democrat Kurt O. Kosack are the only individuals that have pulled petitions to run in the race.

“As a pro-life, pro-Second Amendment conservative I strongly believe in limited government and protecting the family. I will be a clear voice for Williamson County and all of its citizens,” Bulso added.

Bulso made the announcement after State Representative Brandon Ogles (R-Franklin), who currently holds the position, decided to not seek another term.

“My constituents and colleagues have been so, so good to me. I have recently been presented an opportunity to advocate for victims of violent crimes, in the even broader fight nationwide. I will be leaving the 99 members of the House in November. Thank you for investing in a local outsider. I am so thankful for the opportunity to represent Williamson County,” said Ogles in a post on his Facebook page.

The attorney previously ran for the position, but he was defeated by Ogles in 2018.
